The first piece in the Street Dreamer collection incorporating music through a collaboration with my friend and musician, Rudolf Schneedörfler.
Casa is, to date, the most highly valued artwork in the collection and holds a deeply personal significance for me. It merges visual elements that have always inspired me—aged architecture layered with the marks of its inhabitants, tropical environments, and cozy town corners that seem forgotten by time or simply overlooked.
The idea for this piece originated during a visit to Cuba in 2022, but its true inspiration traces back to 2014, when I spent time in the Caribbean. I was captivated by the coastal colonial architecture of places like Puerto Rico, which left a lasting impression.
It’s no coincidence that I created this artwork while settling into the beautiful city of Barcelona, Spain. At that moment, everything seemed to come together perfectly.
The artwork was selected for exhibition at NFT.NYC 2024.
