It’s no coincidence that I came up with this artwork at the beginning of winter—exhausted and dried out after the scorching heat of Barcelona’s summer, longing for those long, freezing nights when daylight is brief and you can spend time in your own space without the fear of missing out on sunny days.

These little rooms—our personal kingdoms—are places we retreat to willingly, spending long nights inspired, studying, experimenting, creating, hating, and loving. They become our shrines, glowing in the darkness of winter.

A collectible animation loop from the Viñetas collection.
