Along with another piece titled The Lake, this artwork was heavily inspired by the True Detective series—but this time, I was drawn to the idea of setting it in a futuristic world.
It captures the moment our federal agent arrives at the scene for the first time—just on the verge of uncovering something deeply unsettling, something that will trigger a chain of unexpected events. This is the case that will truly get under his skin and won’t let go until it’s solved... or until it kills him.
