After some time in animation, I decided to come back to film and was hired by another VFX giant in London—Framestore. While finishing The King’s Man, I was asked whether I’d be interested in collaborating on the new James Bond movie. It was the hottest IP the studio was working on, and absolutely everyone wanted to touch it.

It was an incredibly intense production. The movie was shot on film, and changes were happening constantly. What made it truly special, though, was the small team of wonderful people I was part of—and the way we supported each other through the tough times. Seeing the movie much later in the cinema—after so many delays due to the COVID pandemic—and witnessing the wrap-up of the narrative of my all-time favorite Bond character was truly rewarding.

What I also loved about this project was that it demanded broad knowledge of in-house tools as well as advanced procedural tools like Houdini. Shortly after, I used that freshly gained knowledge to create one of the music videos—Na Moře by Lex Barker—completely in Houdini.
