The cover design for my father’s second book.
As I read the first draft, a particular image stayed with me—one that, for me, captured the essence of the entire story. A place vividly described in the book: an old wooden cabin on the Baltic Sea coast, weathered by time and the elements. It embodied the beauty of nostalgia, the weight of old memories, and the dreams we inevitably return to—especially in moments of struggle, much like the main character experiences.
The story touches on something deeply personal to my family, which made it even more meaningful when my dad asked me to design the cover. It’s a book that will always hold a special place in our hearts.
