The source of inspiration can come from anywhere at any time. At the end of 2022, I felt particularly nostalgic about Czech winters—the short days when the sun never truly rose, leaving behind a strange, moody ambient light. This effect was especially pronounced in the forests, where one could feel transported to an almost different world.
Patches of light filtered through the canopies, creating surreal patterns on the snow-covered ground, occasionally revealing glimpses of the rusty forest floor, lightly dusted with powder. Everything else was lost in an impenetrable, dense fog. One could swear they were never truly alone while walking through, despite the overwhelming quiet—except for the strange clicking sounds from those up in the trees...
